The Adventures of Tolula in LaLa Land

We all know catwalk queen Tolula Adeyemi gives good face (see evidence above) but now she's making a bid to take over LaLa Land. We bumped into the model/ DJ at a launch party in Maddox nightclub just before she hit the decks and she told the FBC exclusively that she's been work her butt off in Hollywood "I've been shooting a series of shorts that will be entered in film festivals for 2011. I'm hoping this will be the start of something big!"

Good start but any fledgling film star worth their salt heads to Cannes every year and that's exactly what Miss Adeyemi did "I was at the film festival!"Tolula told us- good on ya love work it! "And I was hanging out at Soho House in LA yesterday so I'm a bit jet lagged but it was amazing. I met Sylvester Stallone and Jack Nicholson!" Mingling with Hollywood royalty. This girl knows which side her bread is buttered on. She's already starred alongside heavy hitters Dustin Hoffman and Emma Thomson in the movie Last Chance Harvey and has the support of friend and rumoured former love interest Jude Law. Good luck Tolula. Model & Vivian Westwoods muse/ DJ/ future Hollywood royalty- just another string to your already burgeoning bow!

The National Movie Awards

The A List came out in force for the 3rd annual National Movie Awards last night at Londons Royal Festival Hall. Despites its 2009 hiatus, the ceremony pulled in heavy hitters like Orlando Bloom, Tom Cruise and Gwyneth Paltrow. Mr Cruise ever the consumate movie star spent ages schmoosing on the red carpet, speaking to fans and taking pics. He even grabbed a journalists mobile phone to speak to her brother and congratulated him on becoming a father (Kristen Stewart et al take note- less sulking more schmoozing when you're on the red carpet!) And this was an awards ceremony truly for the fans. All winners were voted for by the viewing public. Its good for the industry to remember that fans sticking their bums in seats helps to turn films into box office smashes and actors into bone fide stars.

Speaking of stars, we spoke to several, including the gorgeous Dominic Cooper who told us that he was still living in bromance bliss with James Corden "I'm like the girl though- I do all the washing, and I'm always like- cup of tea dear? I draw the line at ironing his underpants though!" And James revealed that he was the next actor to get on the 3D trend with an upcoming role in The Three Muskeeters 3D movie.

We spied Flawless who were looking rather dapper in identical maroon suits "Next supplied us with our clothes today- we're lucky its a perk getting freebies!" When asked what they thought of this years BGT they confessed they hadn't been watching- tut tut! The boys who star in Street Dance 3D, promised that they wouldn't ditch the fancy footwork for the silver screen just yet "We'd love more movie roles but we would never stop dancing. Thats our first love."

Chipmunk, who performed at the ceremony, arrived weighed down by a major piece of bling around his neck and dressed head to toe in Moschino! With throngs of girls screaming his name he's clearly not short of female attention and the cheeky grin on his face whenever the fans called him definitely showed that he loves it- but is there a special lady in his life? "Not at the moment" he revealed. But would he date another celeb? "Not especially but if I did I'd keep it on the low like Jay Z and Beyonce. No one saw pictures of their wedding splashed across magazines!" Too true Chip Diddy!

Interesting-ly Katie Holmes and Joshua Jackson both looked a little moody when they made their respective arrivals. The pair were hot and heavy a few years prior to Kate's marriage to Tom and Joshua's relationship with Diane Kruger. Perhaps it was a "crap I really don't want to run into my ex" moment...Although, perhaps Katie was a bit miffed that she'd picked out such a drab dress to wear. Katie you are too young and too cute to wear something this dull. Think you need to call your old BFF Victoria Beckham and get a few fashion tips!
