Trey Songz - Already Taken [Step Up 3D]

The sexiest man in R&B's latest track. And he's telling us what we don't want to hear but in the sweetest harmony possible (so you can't help but listen).

I met Trey after he performed at his sell out gig in London last week. Yuuupp...ladies we can confirm he is as hot in the flesh as he looks in the videos. He revealed that girls were throwing their knickers and bra's, crying, screaming and trying to rugby tackle him whilst he serenaded the crowd on stage- all in a days work for Mr Songz.

Shoe-gasm of the Month

This is our "bite your lip and try not to scream" shoe moment for June...take a deep breath and take in the Alexander McQueen Skull zip leather ankle boots. The leather on these boots is so soft you'll want to rub them against your cheek and whisper "This is so good to me...is it good to you?" McQueen has created a wear me from summer to autumn moment. The peep toe is perfect for now but will still work come September/ October. Yaaay, a transitional shoe-gasm!

Street Chic

Fell in love with this girls romantic styling...the hair, the dress, the strong red lip oh so stressless but extremely beautiful..OK this wasn't strictly on the street (it was a red carpet) but this girl wasn't an actress or model- she'd won a ticket to a premier and had no stylist on hand.

The dress is All Saints (£160)- the draping and simplicity of the outfit makes it red carpet gold!

Catch up with Lisa Butcher- The model, the mum, the designer and the ambassador!

Lisa Butcher was catapulted to supermodel stardom at the age of 14 after winning a modelling competition with British Elle and went on to work with fashion powerhouses like YSL, Galliano and Ralph Lauren. She famously married Marco Pierre White 3 weeks after meeting him (aged just 21) but the pair divorced after 15 weeks! Now the mother of two has established herself as a presenter fronting Britain’s Next Top Model and What Not To Wear. She is also an ambassador for Fairtrade Cotton, designing jewellery and designing a range for Long Tall Sally- this is one busy yummy mummy! We caught up with Lisa recently and she revealed all about her work with Fairtrade, her lust for J Brand jeans, why beauty starts from the inside out and her tips for looking sexy this summer!

How did you get involved with Fair Trade cotton?
I grew up in Indonesia around tea plantations. So I’d seen first hand what it was like for workers in these countries. And the experience instilled in me that we should always care for other people. When Fairtrade approached me I jumped at the chance to help out. They asked me to go and see the cotton farmers in Gujarat. It was an amazing 4 day trip, where I met the workers and their families, saw how they lived. People don’t really think about the consequences of what they are wearing. I wanted to highlight to people what the cotton workers go through.

Do you think it’s important for people in the public eye to get behind causes?
Definitely. It’s important if you have a bit of a profile to be a voice for people who have been forgotten. Coming from the modelling industry you were a projection of everyone’s ideas, told to wear something shut up and get on with it- I had 20 years of that but now I can speak up! I couldn’t take on too many because I still need to take care of my children and earn a living!

Is it tricky juggling motherhood, your career and charity work?
I wouldn’t have it any other way. The more busy you are the more organised you are with your time and the more you get out of your days. My kids come before everything always, much to the detriment of my career sometimes! But I wouldn’t have it any other way.

What has been the most important lesson you’ve learnt during your career?
Take every opportunity when it comes because it might not come again. I started out so young [14 yrs old]. I didn’t appreciate what I had and in hindsight I would have taken more of the opportunities that came my way! I fronted a Ralph Lauren campaign and I didn’t even know who they were!

What was the hardest thing starting out so young in the industry?Well 14 is a time when you are still developing. Hormones are flying all over the place and you are becoming who you are going to be in the future. Sometimes going into a role and forgetting who you are can have repercussion’s later on in life. And I guess for me, one of my biggest regrets is that I didn’t stay in school for longer.

You fronted What Not To Wear. Would you say the main aim of the show was to help those struggling with their image?

It wasn’t so much to do with image. It was more to do with restoring confidence. Often something had happened- they may have lost someone or they might have been ill-and they needed their confidence back. It wasn’t just about looking in the mirror. It’s about feeling good on the inside. You don’t have to be the prettiest in the room to be the one that everyone gravitates towards. Confidence is key!

Do you ever struggle with image or finding the right clothes?

Gosh all my life! I love those really cool jeans that are out at the moment by J Brand, they kind of look like combats [the Houlihan]. And they only come in a 31inch leg. I’m 6ft, its a bit annoying that the coolest trousers in the world will never fit me! I also have hips so I do sometimes struggle!

Would you say you’re a bit of a crusader for women of all sizes being accepted and having the right to good clothes that fit?
In a way. I went to Equity to campaign for models of all sizes to be represented on the catwalk. When I was modelling I was told not to eat, that I was too fat. I had puppy fat. It did disappear but now its come back!

You look amazing! Do you have a failsafe sexy outfit?
Probably a dress that I designed for Long Tall Sally. It’s a halter neck maxi dress, but with really long ties so you can tie it up in heaps of different ways.

What’s your favourite/ least favourite part of your body?
My arms are my favourite as they are quite slim. I guess my bottom half is my least favourite. I have a typical English pear shape!

I’m sure the fella’s like it!
[Laughs] It’s so funny but its true men love that and us girls just want to be tiny as ever.

Lisa’s Sexy Summer Tips

*Killer pair of shades is a necessity. I always have at least two pairs in my handbag.

*Jean/ cargo hybrid pants like the Houlihans from J Brand a la Rihanna[also check out www.netaporter.com or www.my-wardrobe.com]

*Indulge in tribal prints- but it’s a trend so don’t overspend.

*A maxi dress- my one from Long Tall Sally is brilliant!

*Zen Tan- its amazing, you look super healty and if you put it on right it doesn’t streak!

*Bright nail varnishes from POP! They are so bright you practically need shades to look at them. Neon brights are a brilliant look for nails this summer

*Mineral foundation by Mac. It’s the best coverage in the heat. Your skin can breath!

OMG! The Capital FM Summer Ball

Yesterday in a quiet corner of North West London a couple of old crooners got together to sing a few random tunes...ok thats a lie...We hit the annual Capital fm Summer Ball in Wembley Arena and the event hit us back with a bang! Despite the rain thousands of fans came out to see their favourite UK and US artists performing. Artists on the night included Usher, Cheryl Cole, Pixie Lott and Dizzee Rascal. Usher opened the show and rounded his set with an ICONIC had to be seen performance of OMG! with Will.i.am and Justin Beiber. The crowd completely lost it when the three stars performed the last verse together. Speaking before his performance Usher said it was an honour to sing on last Saturdays BGT and that if he ever did the show his talent would be a badass impersonation of Simon Cowell! When asked about Cheryl Cole/ will.i.am rumours and whether he'd given the BEP frontman mackin' advice he replied "I think he's got a handle on that..." sounds like a possible confirmation of Miss Cole and Will's dating status! Cute lil Beiber told us his hair only takes 5 mins to style....pull the other one, that 'do looks to precise to be that speedy! He also told us that he sometimes prank calls celeb friends. He once called Akon and told him he was his love child. Poor Akon must have been out of his mind!

Our fav performer on the night had to be Tinie Tempah (namely because the cute Brit MC makes us feel a bit Frisky). He talked fashion describing his style as smart, street cool and fresh, he also confirmed that he is single (woohoo) before stepping on stage to perform the no1 smash Pass Out and new track Frisky.
A lady who is definitely as excited about Tempah's single status as the FBC is Lisa Snowden. She confirmed that he is her celeb crush of the moment. Lisa co-hosted with her Capital FM partner in crime Johnny Vaughan. Johnny was cheeky as ever, revealing that he'd seen Lisa's boobs when they were changing "I can confirm that she has the best pair I’ve ever clapped eye's on" and when he took a picture with the FBC he slipped a hand on our hip and whispered in our ear "I think I've found your hot spot." Naughty boy!

Funniest moment on the night had to be when Jason Derulo couldn't take his leather jacket off on stage. Working up a sweat with those dance moves and trying to remove leather doesn't really mix!
The ball also featured a new boy band called The Wanted. Definitely ones to watch. Uber sexy. Very cheeky. Watch out JLS!! Speaking of JLS, the guys came in with kids from the Help A London Child charity. The poor little 'uns looked like they were ready to faint with excitement! Marvin talked about his missus Rochelle from The Saturdays and revealed the secret to landing such a gorgeous lady was being a gentleman. Ahhh! He also told us the pair were house hunting. Hmmm wedding belles? Beautiful JLS/ The Sats babies? Yes please!

Rihanna closed the show with a killer performance of Rude Boy and Umbrella. No one was in their seat, it was all about stomping your feet to the Bajan beauties set.

When the night ended playtime for the performers began. Many went to celeb hotspot Mahiki to get their after party on!

Tinie Tempah's Frisky Fashion

Is it just me or is Tinie Tempah's new promo for the track Frisky a great example of his fashion forward style?
The clothes he rocks in this video are edgy, sexy, super directional and out there to the point of Kanye Wests pushing the envelope fashion sense. From the geek chic glasses to the pink tuxedo jacket he rocks, Tempahs fashion icon status is rising as fast as his musical prowess.

Killer line in Frisky "Smile for the camera the fashionista's out" couldn't have put it better myself.

Frisky is out June 7th

SATC2 at the Everyman Cinema!

We enjoyed the most super duper girly Sex and the City 2 experience at the Everyman Cinema on Wednesday night.
The screening at the gorge boutique venue was a decadent affair; we walked up a red carpet, were papped as we made our entrance (rocking ridiculously high stilettos and obscenely short dresses)and greeted with the cutest cupcakes decorated with the names of our fav characters, we ate Mr Big and Carrie- natch. A stunning photography exhibition was on show, put together by talented student types from the London College of Fashion and delicious Sex and the City inspired cocktails were laid out for us to sip on. Carrie herself couldn't have thrown a better soiree!

Watching the movie there, I have to admit the comfort level is unparalleled. It’s like the business class of cinemas. Enough leg room to think your on the couch at home, table service (Bellini’s brought to your table- you can’t ask for more), plush love seats to park your bum on (much easier for your date to slide their arm around you). I could go on but you have to check it out for yourselves!

Fashionable ladies came out in force

The SATC2 inspired screenings followed hot on the heels of a special Alice in Wonderlan-d showing, where the venue was decked out like a mad hatters tea party. Check out www.everymancinema.com to find out more about the awesome events they hold!

Yummy SATC cakes

Everyman cinema's will be screening SATC2 until 10th June. Catch it there while you can at the Belsize Park, Hampstead, Baker Street, Islington, Oxted, Winchester, Walton and Reigate venues!
