Dial S for Shindig....

So last week Bella hit a few shindigs...think someone gave my S button a nice big, fat push...

KG and Marston
First off I went to the newly refurbished Gem Bar on Beak Street for the launch of a brand spanking new comedy night hosted by KG & Marston the awesome comedy duo behind the underground comedy skit Shadrack and the mandem...

The guys are as funny in the flesh as they are on youtube (and kinda shexshay too...they took their tops of and all of the women stopped laughing and started swooning).

The event is poised to happen monthly....excitement!

Check out this clip of their skit...you'll laugh so hard you'll either choke or cry

Moo Party

Next stop was Shoreditch, where I slipped into 93 Feet East and sipped on some summery cocktails for the Moo 4th birtday party. Moo makes all kindsa cute promo bits involving pics from business and birthday cards to collage prints...oooh brilliant for getting picture perfect...on the night the Moo crew filmed party goers to ask them about their fav Moo products and the night was topped of with a bit of karaoke- my friends and I sang/ murdered Shabba Ranks Mr Loverman it wasn't pretty (although I think the fella's in the building enjoyed the girl on girl grinding sesh the FBC had during the song). Have a little Moo-ch through the party pics below!

Trading Places
Friday rolled on and we headed to the Trading Places party at Shoreditch House. This is a regular, exclusive little chi chi do put on by none other than Radio 1 DJ and presenter Reggie Yates (or Reg-e-licious as we've christened him because he looked good enough to eat on the night.)

The Trading Places crowd consisted of achingly hip Shoreditch types, dressed either in clothing only they understand or fierce, fresh streetwear- with many of the ladies rocking the stereotypical Shoreditch topknot (you know the one- hair up with a bun smack on top of your head) and some the fella's looking fittingly androgynous in skinny jeans and Louis V scarves..Reg-e-licious handled the decks alongside other rather talented vinyl spinners...the music was like listening to a bunch of your favourite ipod playlists on random! There's one word to sum up this party. HOT. The music- hot, the people- hot, the club- hot (no a/c in this venue!) Check out the party pics below.

The Adventures of Tolula in LaLa Land

We all know catwalk queen Tolula Adeyemi gives good face (see evidence above) but now she's making a bid to take over LaLa Land. We bumped into the model/ DJ at a launch party in Maddox nightclub just before she hit the decks and she told the FBC exclusively that she's been work her butt off in Hollywood "I've been shooting a series of shorts that will be entered in film festivals for 2011. I'm hoping this will be the start of something big!"

Good start but any fledgling film star worth their salt heads to Cannes every year and that's exactly what Miss Adeyemi did "I was at the film festival!"Tolula told us- good on ya love work it! "And I was hanging out at Soho House in LA yesterday so I'm a bit jet lagged but it was amazing. I met Sylvester Stallone and Jack Nicholson!" Mingling with Hollywood royalty. This girl knows which side her bread is buttered on. She's already starred alongside heavy hitters Dustin Hoffman and Emma Thomson in the movie Last Chance Harvey and has the support of friend and rumoured former love interest Jude Law. Good luck Tolula. Model & Vivian Westwoods muse/ DJ/ future Hollywood royalty- just another string to your already burgeoning bow!

Proud Party People...

Hot on the heels of the Proud Cabaret City venue re-launch, Proud Camden celebrated its 2nd birthday with a couple of celeb pals on Wednesday night. Staunch Camdenite Amy Winehouse came down and gave a little impromptu performance on the night during Professors Greens performance of Just Be Good To Green.
Lily Allen sings the hook on the track but she was no where to be seen on the night, so Winehouse took up the reigns. Have the famously feuding pair buried the hatchet? Was Winehouse doing Allen a favour or was she trying to prove that her version was better?

Also at Proud on the night was Plan B who performed his hit track She Said, the beautiful Ashley Madekwe who plays the ditzy escort Bambi in Diary of a Call Girl and a very merry Olly Murs. The X-Factor runner up is said to be putting the finishing touches to his album. Can't wait for this cuties stuff to drop. He's been in the studio with Take That producer John Shanks and Miley Cyrus writer Claude Kelly so we can tell good things are a brewing!

Everyone’s favourite common person Jarvis Cocker was on good form as the nights compare. T4's chislled hunk Rick Edwards came down for a bit of the action. And there was also a bit of Brand in the house. Before you get overexcited it wasn't reformed shag-a-holic Russell it was his dad Ron Brand- he's a bit of a silver fox- clearly the apple didn't fall far from the tree.

In-between celeb sightings as ever Proud put on a fan-titty-tastic display of boobs and booty. Burlesque at its finest! Proud Camden is definitely still the hottest Burlesque club in London. Two years and still going strong.

Tassles, Tits and Glitz @ Proud!

We had a whole lotta naughty fun at the re-launch of the most decadent venue in the city- Proud Cabaret. Proud is a sexy modern day slice of good old burlesque fun and vaudeville madness. On the night we were greeted by sexy hostesses, looked after by the most divalicious drag queens and served gorge cocktails and mini beef wellington’s (which were so good we had to eat them twice!)

The vibe was luxe with an immense buzz and but as soon as the first performer came out a hush fell over the audience. We were treated to a minxy melee of performances, including burlesque strippers, dancers, contortionists and jazz singers with Jessica Rabbit swagger and Marilyn Monroe tones. Intermission girls sold tit tassels, cigars and thongs during the night which added a bit of extra spice…

Special mention has to go to Miss Delilah who could do everything from rotate on the ground with cocktail glasses on her hands and feet (she didn't spill a drop) to hula hooping with a billion hoops around her hips (Ok, 6 but that’s a lot folks)

A definite crowd pleaser had to be the sexy Sophie St Villiers, who left the audience spellbound as she gave us a seductive striptease which ended with her pouring diamante all over her chest (don’t try this at home girls...those little pieces of bling can get stuck in some awkward places). Also Missy Fatale brought the weird sexy when she ended her act to reveal three boobs (one wasn't real, The FBC discovered on closer inspection!)

The piece de resistance had to be the Globe Girls. These Proud regulars have performed for everyone from Beyonce to the Royal family.

Made up of foxy blonde chicks, sassy drag queens and 4 hot boys who look like the love children of Tom Ford and Marc Jacob (they are so good looking it hurts)- they put on a bit of a show stopper which consists of dance numbers, songs and mini musical theatre (which has a shockingly murderous theme)

You can head down to the Proud for dinner, drinks or just to soak in the atmosphere and watch the acts. So if you fancy a night of sexy, naughty, decadent fun head to Proud but don’t forget to bring the razzle dazzle…boys wear suits and girls channel 1940's fitted chic structures or 1920’s flapper fashion(sparkles and tassels galore.) And when you are there- don’t forget to clap bitches! These performers deserve your applause...

Aqua London Store Launch!

Finally the gorgeous Aqua line has launched its very own store in London! The hip design house is made up of Ryan Holliday-Stevens, his business partner Julie and their muse Laura. The line hails from Leeds and has been a favourite of mine since I first spotted it on ASOS.com a few years ago.

I'm not alone in my amour for Aqua, the launch was packed with hip fashionista's, celebs(Paloma Faith- looked stunning as ever in her retro 40s pin up girl style) and paparazzi. Over cider in champagne glasses and mini fish and chips(yum)we caught up with Trinny and Susannah. The girls (who look gorge in the flesh) told us they have a new show starting in June called "What They Did Next" after which Susannah grabbed my boobs and said 'Brilliant dress and you have fab tits darling I absolutely love you!' love you too Susannah! The party vibe was buzzing with a slick house DJ at the decks, master mixologists at the bar and of course amazing Aqua pieces to get your mitts on! What more can a girl ask for?

Aqua's muse
When the FBC bumped into Laura (pictured wearing the nude and black dress)we were momentarily paralysed by her beauty. This girl is about 6ft tall and looks like Erin O'Connor! Ryan told us that he met Laura when she started working in their Leeds store 7 yrs ago, and she's been inspiring him ever since!

Julie's a Jewel!

Aqua's co-owner Julie was wearing one of their key creations "I absolutely love this dress" she told us. Agreed!

We spied this hot little reveller rocking a dress that we own! Love the drop front on this piece and the way she accessorized the dress with matching socks pushed the fash points! Aqua translates high end couture style with out the prices you pay in a Paris show room. They've become a firm fav with celebs like Frankie from The Saturdays and Alexandra Burke who've been seen wearing the designs in music video's and while they're out and about.

All the party goers perusing the rails were seen marching to the tills with more than one fab creation under their arms!

To get your hands on some of the beautiful, couture-esque Aqua designs head to the new store @12 Fouberts Place London W1F 7PG (Carnaby Street) or visit www.aquacouture.co.uk
