Tea with Tamsin

Last week I caught up with Tamsin Egerton over afternoon tea at the Soho Hotel. We talked about her new film 4.3.2.1 (written/ directed by Noel Clarke). The movie focuses on 4 girls, over three days, with the story following them across two cities and they all have one chance. But one chance to do what? "One chance to sort your life out- all of us girls have our crises and we have one chance to wake up and smell the coffee!" Tamsin tells us. The ladies get caught up in a super sexy diamond heist- the film is fast paced, has great back stories for each of the girls and is a modern day tale of real girl power! Its feminism reloaded!
In person Tamsin has this striking ethereal willowy beauty, but with a down to earth giggly girly persona which makes you feel like you are hanging out with a friend (not one of Britains hottest young acting talents!) When I asked her about channelling confidence on the red carpet (I had a premiere the next day) she said "Oh darling you just have to realise its all just silly. Everyone screams your name but in the end you just go home to your mates and your dog!" she giggled "I just strike a pose, believe that its a load of hype and I'm fine!"

Catch 4.3.2.1 in cinemas from the 2nd of June

National Movie Awards- The Fashion Story

Last night Londons South Bank was swarmed by the glitteratti as they headed to the Royal Festival Hall for the NMA's! Here's a run down of the FBCs best dressed folks!

The Real Good

Gwyneth Paltrow gets in touch with her girly side in this pink peplum dress. Gwyns pins looked amazing from the FBCs perspective...we need to get some yoga tips from her asap!

The Sexy

Sacha Chang star of Street Dance 3D wowed in a one off find from a Carnaby Street boutique. Loved this girls diva swagger. Big hair and bootilicious...British Beyonce anyone?!

The Sweet

Konnie Huq looked sweet in a choclotae brown maxi, effortless, understated and so on trend.

The Fashionista's

Ophelia Lovibond and Shanika Warren-Markland from 4.3.2.1 sashayed down the red carpet with Shanika letting her legs do the talking in Jasper Garvida and Ophelia revealing her inner retro diva with a vintage inspired gown from Tibi. They told us that their lovely co-star Tamsin Egerton was unwell so couldn't make the ceremony.

Michelle Ryan channelled prim and proper glamour in an over the knee gold jacquard number. She was pretty tight lipped on the night...perhaps she didn't want to speak about her return to Eastenders following her triumphant time in LaLa Land. After all Miss Ryan not long ago said she'd never return to the Square....

And The Real Bad

Clearly this young lady got the memo that denim was big this season so kudos for trying. However, looking like a denim factory threw up on you a few times thus creating this denim vomit nightmare is not the way to do it love!
