Pop Up @ Selfridges

A pop up boutique with a twist has opened at Selfridges, Oxford Street. The store is stocking oh so fabulous garments donated from stars such like Alexa Chung, Natalie Imbruglia and Dame Shirley Bassy, whilst supertar designers like Stella McCartney and Vivienne Westwood have also given some gorgeous garments to the store. And occasionally when you hear the words “Would you like any help?” you may turn around to see Annie Lennox trying to serve you because celebs are doing the odd shift as shop assistants at the store. That’s a whole lotta bling bling for not much kerchiiing! And its all for a good cause, proceeds from the pop up will go towards Oxfam’s women’s projects across the world, designed to "protect, support and empower vulnerable women: campaigning against violence, empowering them to fight HIV and AIDS and offering the poorest girls the chance of education".


The boutique will be at Selfridges from May 14-20th

FINALLY!!! Just saw the premier for Drakes latest promo on Bossip! Copy and paste the link to check it out, or play the Youtube clip to hear the track. The single is Find Your Love, taken off the highly anticipated Thank Me Later (which is due to drop June 15th.)

The video is mini movie style, shot in Jamrock and features Drizzy in the recording studio, hitting some Jamaican hotspots, puffing on a little somethin'and having a grinding sesh with a cute girl. But is he messing with the wrong woman? Vid also features Movado- He's so special!

British Soap Awards

Eastenders cleaned up at the awards last night with ten trophies including Best Soap, Best Exit (for Charlie Clements as the hapless Bradley) and Best Actress for Lacey Turner- who is pure magic as the manic depressive Stacey Slater (and its her fourth time winning!)

On the night the ladies did their best to rock some floor length gowns and the fella's turned up in tux's but the Oscars this ain't.
Hollyoaks Saira Choudry was spotted bustin' some moves outside China Whites after the ceremony. Classy. Dance floor is inside love...
And Emmerdale star Nicola Wheeler was on her hands and knee's at the unofficial Plaza Hotel after party...you have to hand it to us Brits, celebrity or not we get wasted on a night out, do something stupid, regret it and repeat the next time we hit the town. Rule Britannia!

Winehouse Wedding is wrapped!

Amy Winehouse and Blake Fielder- Civils wedding rematch is off! Blake ended things after he saw pictures of her getting up close and personal with one of her neighbours. Apparently Fielder-Civil had suspected Amy was up to No Good and couldn't say No No No to the tasty piece of man meat next door. The couple were set to remarry following a divorce in 09. Their period of wedded bliss lasted two years and was blighted by drug abuse, endless hours in tattoo parlours, Camden Town pub crawls and those battered blood stained ballet pumps that Winehouse never took off. He may be mad right now but this modern day Sid and Nancy seem to find it impossible to stay away from each other so I doubt it's the last we'll hear of them declaring undying love.

Christina Aguilera - Woohoo ft. Nicki Minaj

In a hook up as hot as Beyonce and Lady Gaga, Christina Aguilera and minxy hip hop princess Nicki Minaj have recorded a track called Woohoo where they talk about all the boys going 'licky licky yum yum' all over their uhhmmm lady zones. The production makes this certified club gold, Christina's vocals are slick as ever and Minaj drops a hot verse about boys treating her like a lolly and how the quality of her and Xtina's tasty cake boxes keeps them in Christian Dior.

Is Alexandra Burke dating two guys?

She sings about bad boys but is Miss Burke a bad girl? A few weeks ago it was rumoured that the X-Factor winner was getting hot and heavy with LA actor Nicholas Sagar. The two met back in the day, stayed in touch and apparently friendship turned into love. Sources reveal that she's been flying the actor over from the States for secret trysts over the last 6 months. But this week the rumour mill went into overdrive with suggestions that she's now hooking up with MTV and Kiss FM cutie Rickie Haywood-Williams. The two had dinner and a little funtime under a big tent where Alexandra got her hands on a snake. Before you get any ideas it was all above the waist and in public. They were at the Cirque Du Soir- a circus themed club- where a magician persuaded Alex to handle an 11-foot Albino Python. Is it a little smoke and mirrors thing so she can throw the media scent off her sexy time with Sagar? Is she dating both guys at once? Will she forget them and (finally)hook up with a member of JLS and give us what we've been waiting for, an X- Factor wedding?! Answers on a post card...

Dress for your party

So the UK Parliament is hung (like so many men wish they were) and we still don’t know who's running the show...Conservatives, Labour or Lib Dems. Well your country needs YOU!

Not to vote (that was a few days ago peeps where ya been?)But to rep the party you support by rocking their colours and style:

Conservative Chic:
The conservative woman's swag is sharp, sexy secretary meets US preppy style. She's got a penchant for Victoria Beckham's taste, she's bold and in charge! Zip up dresses in blue or grey hues(Rolande Mouret or DKNY is the dream), slip on ultra high, power woman heels Guisseppe Zanotti style and carry a classic piece of arm candy(think the Mulberry Alexa or Marc Jacobs Stam Bag).

Labour Babes:
Labour babes are into tailoring and clean lines, but the style is a little easier going than the Tory totty. Dresses veer to a Herve Leger tip, heels are Christian Louboutins or Fendi's and you wear your red labour heart on your sleeve (well over your sleeve) in the form of a Judith Leiber purse. Labour Babes can easily translate their look from day to night by ruching up the dress (sexy time!)

Lib Dem Ladies
So you girls are a little more daring with your policies and opinions and that translates to the wardrobe. Out comes the Matthew Williamson dress for the evenings and at the weekend you're rocking a rebellious Anya Hindmarch tote, ripped boyfriend jeans and a fresh white tee- easy!

Kelis @ G.A.Y

The fiercest r&b rebel outta NY is hitting London's G.A.Y to give us a little Acapella tonight. Cannot wait to see this performance. Kelis (who is staying at the Langham and looking incredibly slim!)is always divalicious, knows how to tear up a stage and she's never afraid to push the envelop with style and persona. I'm loving her new flirtation with trance/ dance music- its all getting a little tribal and smooth for the girl who once screamed I hate you so much right now. She's clearly feeling zen after the break up with hip hop impresario Nas. Her new album Flesh Tone is out 17th May and features music men of the moment David Guetta and Will.i.am.

Sex and the City 2 Trailer

*Screams* Sex and the City 2 is hitting our screens this month!!! The trailer alone- which features a zillion outfit changes, killer lines, killer shots of New York all set to the tune of Jay Z's Empire State of Mind- was enough to leave the FBC hyperventilating..... and we get to see all of our favourite men from the ladies past like Aiden and Smith. I love Carrie and I know she's the central character but my favourite has always been Samantha. Kim Cattralls portrayal of the sexy, maverick PR woman is spot on as ever. Favourite scene in the movie has to be when Samantha reveals her secret to staying young is a cocktail of pills to which Charlotte says "How will you swallow all of those?" Samantha replies "Have we met?" KAPOW!!!!

The UK release date is 28th May and if you need to get a little Carrie fix beforehand read The Carrie Diaries written by original Sex and the City novelist Candace Bushnell...this is Carrie the early years.
